Moving in? Moving Out? We have put together a list of Utilities and Services that you can easily refer to here on our website. Please use this list to make your move easier. If you are moving in, the utility may want a copy of your purchase closing statement or rental agreement. If you are selling, inform the utility of the date you are moving out. Wait until your agent confirms the day of closing and keep utilities on until the date of closing. (Most sales agreements are written this way, please review and confirm what you agreed to.) If a tenant, check and see how your landlord wants the utilities handled to do your move out inspection. Every landlord and agreement is different.
